Tribunal and Court Representation

If you are involved in an employment dispute which cannot be resolved, your case could be decided by an employment tribunal.  This is generally a last resort after other attempts have been made to find a solution.

At Lawrence Stephens, we represent employers and employees at employment tribunals as well as at the Employment Appeals Tribunal and court. We have a high level of legal and employment expertise and are known for our attention to detail and meticulous preparation.

We will work with you to try and resolve matters without the need for a hearing wherever possible, but if an agreement cannot be reached, we can put together a strong case on your behalf.

If you have been notified that an employee or former employee is taking your business to an employment tribunal, you are strongly advised to speak to a solicitor as soon as possible. If you ask us to represent you, we will make sure the correct process is followed and that you are represented by an employment expert during the hearing.

We will do all we can to protect your reputation and ensure that the case is dealt with promptly and effectively.

As an employee, it can be daunting to bring a legal case against your employer. We can help you ensure you follow the right procedure and support you through the early conciliation process where necessary. If possible, we will negotiate a settlement on your behalf.
